Brahmaputra

‘Brahmaputra’, uses the image of a river and its two very different banks to depict the conflict that ensues in the protagonist’s mind.  The contrasting right and left banks of the river set her off in contemplation. The alluring right bank reminded her of the ‘many full moons she had tucked away in the heart of tomorrows to come’. The left bank, vacant, like her reality, was stark.  Which one suited her more?  What does she choose? Read on/Listen in….
